京那巴鲁山(Mount Kinabalu),也称作神山,是东南亚第一高峰。
京那巴鲁山是马来西亚沙巴州的象征,高海拔4095米,有着不可思议的魅力。
神山那看似圆滑却又痕迹斑斑的花岗岩石峰,犹如一个坚毅的男人忍受风吹雨打也坚挺着站立不到,不只是沙巴雄伟的象征,也是沙巴州原住民-卡达山杜顺族(Dusun)的神圣之地。是他们祖灵安息之地。神山也被称作“中国寡妇山”,关于中国寡妇山的传说众说纷纭,基本山就是一位中国男人和原住民女人结了婚,有一天中国男人回祖国后,从此音讯全无,他的妻子肝肠寸断,带着哀痛欲绝的心情登上了神山之巅,望夫成石。事实上要攀登上神山之巅并不容易,虽然说攀登之路有阶级和绳索之助,可是没有强壮与坚毅之心,很难成功登顶。尤其是如果是为了观看神山日出,非得在凌晨两点抹黑前进,赶在3个小时内攀越陡峭和崎岖山路,顶着强风、低温和稀薄的空气,方能抵达顶峰,感叹神山之美。
京那巴鲁山国家公园在1964年成立,目的是为了保护神山和那一带的植物和动物。因生物多樣性與珍貴的自然資源,在2000年12月被联合国教科文组织(UNESCO)列入世界自然和文化遗产。
